I've got it so I don't need it, but have you figured out what to do with it yet?

You know, that's a yes and no for me. I mean I know it can be used for this, but also how different is it really to forum roleplaying or chat roleplaying.

I suggested it as an MMO tool to some people. One was like but we just use IRC channels for that, so it isn't a new tool in that regard. I think another sort of uses it to help with running and organizing a guild.

And that is kind of where it stops for me. Basically it seems like a place that you can collaboratively work on something, but the form of collaboration is kinda of small. It seems like it would be good for an online committee, or maybe a chat interface for a business meeting.

I considered that it could help Carl and I in game design, but I haven't even figured out how to use it, or what documents you can edit and manage.

So yeah it can be used for roleplaying, and might be an okay tool for it as far as online tools for roleplaying go, but I'm still not sure what to do with it.

Also the fact that I can't get there from gmail like I can with Reader is a bit annoying.

repton knows part of it - I wrote about that on Gametime recently.

Still figuring out I want to do with it. But it definitely has utility - e.g. if all the people were on Wave, organizing this show I'm in would be waaaay simpler. Managing the online support elements of real-world collaboration is something Wave can do really well.

Dunno, is it any good?

not really. there's a bit of a tipping point needed that hasn't yet been reached, you need a collaborative project of some kind to use it for with all the relevant bods on wave. E.g. it'd be much better to organize a group road trip on Wave than via email.
